Talawanda MS makes more strides

Congratulations to the Talawanda Middle School boys Cross Country team last night for their runner-up finish at the Hamilton Invitational.  This moves the season record for the boys team to 60 wins against 5 losses.  The Braves had 5 runners in the top 10 and were led by Luke West Poley, who won the race in convincing fashion.  He was followed by Zeke Groom in 4th, Jonathan Hall in 6th, Daniel Mullally in 9th and Logan Murray in 10th.  The girls were 3rd in the meet with Hannah Lippincott making it a sweep of the individual titles with her 1st place finish.  The Lady Braves now have a record of 29 wins and 22 losses for the season.  Lilly Iden had a great sprint finish to finish in 5th place.  The Braves now have some time off as they prepare to defend their SWOC titles later in the season.
